When it gets too hot to ride we at Mototips love to get the jet skis out of the garage and hit the lake! We love anything at Mototips with an engine and jet skis are no exception. The winter time is no time to be out on the water so we hope on the snowmobiles and hit the mountains for a great ride. Honda Dirt Bikes has a series of bikes that may be best for beginners including the CRF50 and the CRF70. These bikes are lightweight and easy to handle so the novice rider is not overwhelmed. However, the CRF100F is also a beginner's bike but slightly more powerful than the other two.
Honda has bikes for more experienced riders as well such as the CRF450X, CRF250R and CRF250X. The CRF450X is lightweight and easy to control while the CRF250R and CRF250X combine handling, power and weight. A good amateur competition choice is the 205X with all of its features and technology.
Kawasaki motocross dirt bikes has an entire line of motocross bikes: KX 65, KX 85, KX 100, KX 250 and KX 450. The KX 65 has a two-stroke single engine, 64cc displacement and a liquid cooling system among its features. The KX 85 advances slightly with two-stroke single engine with KIPS, 84cc displacement and a liquid cooling system. The KX 100 differs with a 99cc displacement.
However, the most advanced choices are the KX 250 and the KX 450. The former has a four-stroke single engine with DOHC and four valves, 249cc displacement and a liquid cooling system. The latter boasts a liquid cooled four-stroke single engine with DOHC and a four-valve cylinder head and 449cc displacement.
Suzuki Dirt Bikes has nine available dirt bikes, the two latest being the 2011 RM-Z450 and the 2011 RM-Z250. The RM-Z450 uses a 449cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve, fuel-injection system that is lightweight and battery-less. The RMZ250 is more compact and lightweight with a 249cc, fuel-injected, DOHC, titanium four-valve, semi-dry-sump, four-stroke engine.
Yamaha Dirt Bikes also offers motocross/supercross models such as the 2010 Yamaha YZ450F that utilizes a new 4-titanium valve cylinder head that is matched to a fuel injection system. This system automatically adapts to altitude and temperature. The Bilateral Beam frame allows for lightweight handling and cornering while the rearward-slanted cylinder gives a rider quicker response and more power.
